Bass Trombonist, Jennifer Wharton has a diverse list of credits in both the classical and commercial realms on bass trombone and tuba. In addition to being the bass trombonist for Darcy James Argue's Secret Society, Jennifer has performed and/or recorded with ensembles including The BMI Jazz Composers Workshop Orchestra, Jeff Fairbanks Jazz Orchestra, The Woody Herman Orchestra, the Gene Krupa Orchestra, the Ayn Inserto Jazz Orchestra, DIVA, and the South Florida Jazz Orchestra. Her Broadway experience includes Wonderland, 9 to 5, Curtains, Mary Poppins, Wicked, The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, Anything Goes, West Side Story, Gypsy, Young Frankenstein, White Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She has also worked with popular artists Natalie Cole, Bernadette Peters, The Temptations and Ann Hampton Callaway. Jennifer holds a performance degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and will be completing her first Ironman triathlon in 2012.
