Since graduating from California Institute of the Arts, Nate has enjoyed playing with a variety of people including Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, Dave Grohl, Brian May and Roger Taylor (Queen), Chris Squire (Yes), Elliot Easton (The Cars), Chaka Khan, Kneebody, Wayne Krantz, Billy Childs, Tigran Hamasyan and many others.

Along with his work as a sideman, Nate has released 2 albums of his own material(Reliving and Fall), performing everything himself and recording/mixing them at his home. Nate is currently touring with his groundbreaking grammy nominated instrumental group Kneebody and playing with weyou, a duo with Jesske Hume.
